(Some) Books I Read in 2021 and What They Taught Me

Hi readers!

Happy 2022! Last year both flew and crept by (thanks Covid), but I’m hoping to carry rest (and health), mindfulness, and connection into the new year.

This post is a little later than I usually post it, but I do have to say, I’m a little impressed that I’ve kept this series up since 2018 😂. I’m not big on doing wrap-ups since they take so much time; yet, I really enjoy reflecting back on my reading year and seeing what impact the books I read made on me! For 2021, I rounded up 14 books to include in this annual post.

Show Me the Middle Grade #9: A Touch of Magic

Wow, my last Show Me the Middle Grade post was back in…May 😳 (the end of May, technically, so can we count this as June? Just a three-month hiatus 😬).

But! We are back (at least for now, lol)! A reading slump and a busy summer took a lot of energy to ~deal~ with, but I’ve been some great MG (graphic) novels lately, so here are some stand-outs that feature a touch of magic ✨
